ADDRESS:
Al Quran;
Chapter 2, Baqara,
Verse 183.
Salam Alaika Yaa Ramadan,
We thank Allah for you. One of HIS most blessed creations, a creation that obeys the dictates of Almighty Allah by your arrival and departure from the lives of Muslims and non Muslims alike. All praise is due to Allah
History has it that the companions of old used to yearn for your coming and grieve your departure, a one way opposite is our case in current times, we also yearn for you but countdown your exit unlike our predecessors. Sub haanal Laah!
As if that was not enough Muslims plan, plan and plan in month of Sha’baan waiting for your arrival into our lives. Sadly though, more often than not, about provisions for fasting and the eid celebration.
Nothing much about how to maximize the blessings of the period and to be better Muslims before, during and after the period. We long to see the new month and to take the intention to fast for as long as you are around.
The true believers (may we be amongst them) salivate for all the good and blessedness, mercy and bliss that you come along with. Doors of Jannah flung open and that of hell shut close is exciting but even more that that is Shaitaan and his associates being chained. Subhaanal Laah!
We long to take our “sahuur” (pre dawn meal) in “salaam” (peace) and to have “iftaar” (fast breaking meal) with “istigfaar” (seeking for forgiveness) from Subhaanahu wa ta’aalaa.
Post Ishae, the faithful would wait to say the taraaweeh and do so with the sole aim of pleasing HIM. And how can we forget about the Qiyaamul Layl, the Tafaaseer and qiraa’aat of the Qur’an. Masha Allah!
Benevolence shall be at its height insha Allah, as any and everyone strives to give and give more. May HE the acceptor of our supplications accept that which we give and duly reward us as HE deems fit. Ameen.
You bring us loads of goodness, tons of peace, gallons full of tranquility, acres of blessedness and infinite divine grace and mercy and for that we thank Allah for honoring us with your blessed presence.
None we are told is guaranteed that he/she would experience your imminent arrival. Yet we long to experience your presence even if it be our last. So does man plan but Allah’s plan is the real plan.
May our efforts at worshipping Allah, during your visit be acceptable and may we be servants of the Almighty who shall enter jannah via Ar rayaan.
Bil Khayr was salam.
